Stro drops off next freestyle, “Apollonia”

Saying that Brooklyn emcee Stro has been hard at work would be an understatement. Over the past seven days, Stro has put out three freestyles as part of a movement he calls The Flood. Before today, The Flood has consisted of “Only On Apps” and “Hotel Lobby”, but today he adds in “Apollonia”. This series has been designed to showcase Stro’s hard, lyrical bars and not much else. Each track so far has done just that, and “Apollonia” is no exception. Stro brings an exceptional old school flow to every track he touches, and I can’t wait to hear the rest of The Flood. He has said he takes influence from New York legends like Nas, Biggie, and Jay Z, and this is evident in his sound and rhyme scheme. Stro should be getting more attention in the coming months, and it will be well deserved. Check out the young, skilled emcee’s new freestyle, “Apollonia” here:
