When an artist has absolute control over their rhythm and flow, their expression through music becomes epic. K.A.A.N. is a prime example of this concept at work. He is a young emcee coming out of Maryland that will dismantle your brain as you try pick apart his lyrics. K.A.A.N.’s two new songs, “Float” and “What’s The Word,” are testimonies that his bars are endless and his flow is incredibly shifty. Resemblance to hip hop powerhouse Kendrick Lamar is evident in much of his work. Shifting flows, bars densely packed with meaning, and impersonation of different voices for the sake of the rhyme are all things that come naturally for K.A.A.N. It is more than obvious that the skill is impeccable as well as the style. K.A.A.N. stands for Knowledge Above All Nonsense for a reason; let the young emcee teach you as he spits so you don’t become a victim of all that nonsense.
