2 Chainz’s “Good Drank” video takes it back to the ’20s

2 Chainz’s  “Hibachi for Lunch” is somewhat of a victory lap after releasing “Daniel Son the Necklace Don” and the Lil Wayne collab album “ColleGrove” earlier last year. The seven song tape is brief but serves its purpose; it states that 2 Chainz has reached OG status and is ready to pass on the coveted ATL trap throne. The song features three generations of Atlanta hip hop royalty, including Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, and the next up to the throne Quavo. Although Quavo is from Gwinnett County, Georgia, he epitomizes Atlanta trap and is now based out of the ATL. The video is set in 1920s prohibition era but instead of smuggling banned alcohol, the trio is sipping on lean. The video maintains its authenticity by being in black and white throughout, except for the prohibited “purple drank”. The song dropped in October but the video was released today.
