Your Old Droog & Wiki release surprise ‘What Happened To Fire?’ EP

Your Old Droog and Wiki, both New York rappers, just released a surprise EP titled What Happened To Fire?.

The former is an artist from Brooklyn who has been making waves across the country. When Your Old Droog first gained traction online, his voice and raps were compared to New York legend Nas. Since then he has put out a few projects, most notably his KINISON EP, and garnered more attention throughout the nation. He even got the chance to tour with legends DJ Premier and Royce Da 5’9″.

Wiki is a Manhattan rapper who has been rapping since the 6th grade. He credits Wu-Tang, Cam’ron, Biggie, and other New York icons as his biggest influences. He is a member of the rapping group RATKING.

What Happened To Fire? is the newest EP that feels like it’s reminiscent of hip hop’s golden age. The duo trades firey bars back and forth over production from the likes of Black Milk and Statik Selektah. It combines a gritty, powerful sound with exceptional lyricism to make this EP one of our favorites of the year. Check it out here:
