Atlanta’s Kap G traps with Quavo on “No New Friends”

The city of Atlanta may still be crippled by their tragic Super Bowl loss in which they gave up a 21-0 point lead, but there is hope blooming in the streets. This comes in the form of a Kap G and Quavo collab called “No New Friends”.The track is exclusively available for enjoyment on My Mixtapez’s youtube account, check it out below:

Kap G represents not only the city of Atlanta, but Latinos trying to make a name for themselves in the hip-hop world. Similarly to how Eminem made way for white dudes in the rap game, it will be interesting to see if Kap G blows up enough to be the face for Latino emcees. His parents are Mexican immigrants, and he wears his heritage on his sleeve.  Kap G can speak both spanish and english, and will even switch between the two in some of his tracks. Since 2014 he has released six mixtapes, and has signed to Atlantic Records.
