P-Lo pairs up with Bay Area icon E-40 to release video for “Put Me On Somethin'”

The Bay Area hasn’t been getting enough love from the rest of the world lately, but one way of turning heads is to score a feature with one of the area’s living legends. P-Lo released his video for the song “Put Me On Somethin'” off of his upcoming album More Than Anything. The song features E-40 and showcases the two at the DMV before taking a ride through the city. In an interview with XXL, he says “This video is inspired by going to the DMV and being bored completely out of your mind. It represents a lot of double meanings. E-40 teaching me the game, but is also my driving instructor.”

But E-40 isn’t the only Bay Area artist P-Lo has linked up with for the upcoming album. Just a few weeks ago, P-Lo also dropped the single “Always” ft. Rexx Life Raj, a fellow Berkeley artist. The single already has over 55k streams on SoundCloud and the two are preparing for a tour this upcoming summer.
