Bryson Tiller shook the hip hop world when he dropped his revolutionary TRAPSOUL album in 2015. The sound Tiller achieved on this project set him apart and created his own lane. Bryson Tiller is able to belt out smooth, melodic vocals as well as switch it up to spit bars over R&B beats. To gear up for the release of his sophomore album True to Self due out June 23rd, the Louisville native dropped three tracks that show off his versatility. On “Honey” Tiller slows it down to narrate his encounters with a girl he is pursuing. Tiller then dropped “Somethin Tells Me” a track that sees Tiller stick to R&B roots to put the emphasis on the SOUL in TRAPSOUL. Finally, on “Get Mine” Bryson Tiller shows that not only can he sing, but he can go toe to toe with one of the best rappers in the game in Young Thug. Thugger’s feature on the track shows that Tiller has the versatility to execute multiple styles of hip hop and remain one of the best even when switching lanes. Check out all three tracks below and get ready for True to Self dropping June 23rd.
