Back in 2000, Bill Clinton signed the bill to officially make the month of June Pride Month. Earlier this year, Chicago artist Taylor Bennett proudly came out as bisexual. This made him one of the few rappers who is a part of the LGBTQ community. With the success of his independently released album, Restoration Of An American Idol, and a recent deal to become the face of Urban Outfitters Bennett is making waves while representing his community boldly. Bennett released his video for one of the hits on the album, “Roof Gone,” and demanded it go viral. With stunning visuals directed by Austin Vesley, who also directed Chance The Rapper’s video “Angels,” “Roof Gone” captures everything that makes Restoration Of An American Idol so great. Check out the video for “Roof Gone” above.
