Chiefer drops “Honest” & “Rider”

New school ATL-based rapper Chiefer is slowly climbing out of the underground.  Though his first Soundcloud releases are barely a year old, he’s already garnered a decent amount of attention and even has a remix of his most popular track “Hold Up” featuring fellow Atlanta artist and anything-but-underground rapper Rich Homie Quan.  One of his newest releases “Rider” is a departure from his usual style and finds Chiefer taking a far more R&B style approach, rapping about women and loyalty on a unique, poppy instrumental.  His other new track “Honest,” while closer to his usual style, is a slow, Metro Boomin produced, introspective and modern banger.  Chiefer’s style and writing fit and find their way on this track, and a collaboration with a hip hop household name like Metro is big for the kid.  Check out both below:
