Bay Area’s McKinley Clemons vibes on “Nostalgia”

It’s no secret that while rappers produce their albums, they often cut out dozens of extra songs that they created during that time that may never see the light of day. However, Bay Area emcee Mckinley Clemons has chosen to release his own extra tracks in what he is calling “Throwaway Thursday”. Check out his latest track, “Nostalgia”, below.

Clemons takes a more old school approach to rap, opposed to the hyped-up trap style that is so popular in today’s game. He’s no slouch with the pen, and his go-to formula involves the emcee showing off smooth flows and delivery over laid-back instrumentals.  “Unified” has been Clemons‘ biggest hit so far, which was featured on his Trilleville EP.  For those looking for some chill rap, Clemons will more than suit your needs, and has a sizable catalog to boot.
